Kids 7,5,2. Not bothered about kids club etc but would like usuable pool, beach/river, stuff to do, cycling, day trips, ideally warm (can you sort that?!) , apartmenty kind of accommodation, may/june time. no idea where to even start. Any recommendations?

Antibes/Juan Les Pins are very nice. You can easily get up and down the coast by train/bus and it is a very easy transfer from Nice Airport. Ste Maxime? What sort of budget do you have?

£2-3000 for the week. Which sounds a lot and then suddenly vanishes when flights etc get involved. Thanks for suggestions. Will have a google.

I would recommend St Maxime or Frejus as good base and nice areas.
Flights aren't normally too bad to Nice but the price of accommodation for that area is usually pretty steep. (If you are travelling school holidays)

Also maybe look at places like Le Lavandou and Cavaliere with flights to Toulon/Hyeres if cheaper than Nice. It is beautiful round there and sandy beaches.
