So we are heading off on our first family holiday to Cervinia in Italy and will be going by car. Realise that with an 8 month old we will need lots of breaks including an overnight stop.
I'm hoping there are some ski enthusiasts that have maybe done this kind of journey and can recommend where they have stopped and/or a hotel/motel recommendation.
Looking at the drive my gut feel is that it needs to be somewhere between Reims and Dijon - possibly nearer to Dijon so we've covered as many flat miles as possible before heading in towards the alps.
