"Ven Ice Cream" in South Woodford?

A local cafe owner has told me there's a real ice cream place in South Woodford. I'm not sure where South Woodford is (not that far from here, I think?) but am tempted to go. Anyone been?

advert for it here - sounds rather nice. S Woodford's on the Central line but otherwise fairly poorly-connected iirc, which may or may not make for an easy journey. Actually I nearly bought a flat overlooking the station at Woodford Green once...

hello. yes go on the tube, it is near the station. otherwise you could drive and park in sainsbury or waitrose carparks - haven't tried ice cream place hope it is good. there isn't really much else to do round there - parks. ooh, there is this looks good (but a bit dear)

Why not try Marine Ices in Chalk Farm? Probably closer and can be combined with trip to London Zoo.

I should try them, I keep meaning to. It's near Camden Market, too, right?

i think you are in mile end nqc? if so is only a few stops on the central line, wanstead park is a bit of a walk from wanstead station though so might be better to drive if you fancy that. i went to fab family concert there a couple of weeks ago, it is a lovely place.

Oh I didn't realise you were that side of town anyway.Yes, Marine Ices is near Camden Market (ghastly place IMO!)-it's almost opposite Chalk Farm tube.
