Does such a holiday exist? Waterpark / Swim obsessed 4 and 6 year old yet, seeking a vaguely sophisticated serene resort?

Without staying at a seperate accomodation from a waterpark we are looking for a lovely summer holiday in June(ish) for the girls, basically, without trying to sound snobby, as 'nice' an aqua oriented resort as poss! Any recommendations much appreciated. !

We stayed here last year which is 10 minutes from a good water park. It has lots of pools and you can get a room with a small private pool.
It's not actually in a resort but is near a good beach.

Xenos Aqua Bay in Tsilivi, Zante. Brand new rooms (completed May 2013) and access to Planos Bay water park.

In the UK it is exclusively booked through First Choice. The hotel is a 'nice' annexe of Planos Bay hotel, but has its own restaurant and bars.

The only way to book is to select Planos Bay as a hotel, and then choose the rooms in the Aqua Bay building - ie the Family Room with Sliding Door.

Watching with interest as that is what we are after too!

We have found that one of the more developed French campsites is a good compromise. Decent pool complex with several slides but with lots of options for "real" travel experiences outside the site too. You don't have to camp, lots of them have lodges or cabins too.

Other nice hotels with water parks:

Hilton Sarigerme, Dalaman Turkey (in a bit of a remote spot)
Atlantica Aegean Blue in Kolymbia Rhodes
Louis Phaethon Beach in Paphos, Cyprus

As a warning, lots of water parks have age/height restrictions on some of the better slides, so check the brochures carefully.

I would go for one that has a good splash/childrens park as well as bigger slides.

Louis Phaethon in Paphos.
Can't link but check Thomson holidays site.

Thank you all - will check all the above out!

Just posted this on another thread (not fixated, honest!), but we loved Gloria Golf Resort in Turkey, and mostly because it had amazing waterslides, and was smart 5* so was a lovely environment. Am watching this thread with interest cos DCs are waterslide-obsessed and Gloria is proving a tough act to follow...

We are closer to booking this, and wondered if anyone can add any new suggestions. Given the instabilities of c/affairs, prob now not Turkey or Egypt. Thnx x

I took my three girls to the Atlantica Aegean Blue in Kolymbia, Rhodes last year. Absolutely loved it, lovely hotel, great pool scene, waterpark on site, good food, very clean and helpful staff.
