Can anyone recommend a nice family friendly hotel and also tell me which is the nicest place to stay?

Valetta (capital city) is really lovely. I think most people stay in the beach resorts, but staying in Valetta and then travelling to the beach (everything very close as small island with good public transport) much nicer IMO.
