Where shall I go on holiday at Christmas?

I like sun
I like sailing
I like all-inclusive
I like cheap (well I accept that it will be any three of the four)

I need to go on the Saturday (it it Christmas eve?) and be back by the 1st or the 2nd at the latest

Any suggestions

I think the canaries are the closest, cheapest winter-sun destinations.

Katymac · 31/07/2006 19:37

Can I sail there?

Have you tried any of the club med holidays? Not sure how they would price over Xmas. We're in the same boat with the kids breaking up on the 23rd December but I'm still trying to sort out October before I tackle Xmas.

CountessDracula · 05/08/2006 23:44

bubblerock · 05/08/2006 23:48

notasheep - I just get defensive - with all the parents saying "god you have nice holidays" & "what do you mean the rates are goin up againg this year?"

DH & I don't drink/smoke or spend money on clothes....holidays are our real treat & I absolutely must get out of the house - otherwise I end up doing paperwork

notasheep · 06/08/2006 23:04

Tobago was fab and you could sail, there was lots of sun and you can probably go all inclusive now. I doubt it will be cheap at Xmas - but where is.
