Am I deluding myself? Can I find somewhere warm with accommodation for dh, me, dd (12), dd (10) and ds (7)? Would Turkey or Greece have good weather?

Lopesan baobab in gran canaria. Fantastic. Big family rooms. We're going back there this year. On Thompson website.

Easter can be touch and go in the Med but it's late this year which always helps. Best bet is Crete as it's further south than other Greek islands. We went there at Easter when I was a teen and the weather was great.

Alternatively southern Spain or Canaries (we're very fond of Lanzarote)

It might be warm but not reliable and not swimming weather. You need to go further south, Canaries is a better option. Having said that we went to Lanzarote last Easter and while it was warm and sunny the pool was freezing. My DC like pool based holidays so it was a disappointment.Next time I will make sure the hotel pool is heated not just "acclimatised".

We've been to Crete before, during May half-term and the weather was lovely - hot & sunny Smile

Hi, we are looking for an April break away we usually go in May when the weather is almost guaranteed but it's going to be April this year.. We went to the Canaries last year which was lovely .. I've also been told that some amenities don't open until May, how true is this.. We like to be by the beach, restaurants, shops etc as we like to go for walks .. I'll be watching this thread as I'm stuck between Turkey or Gran Canaria :)
