Ok ladies I need some ideas for a beach to go to. It should be dead easy for you, I don't have too many criteria, just............
............nice, clean, sandy, can park car very close, easy access onto beach for 83 yr old mum who can't walk far without wheelchair, 60ish(!) mil who has dicky hip, did I mention clean, dd1(9), dd2(6) and very harassed looking me . Oh I'm near to Chester btw.

West Kirby? It's possible to park on the road next to the beach (though may be a bit crowded). Check the tide times and see whether you and your daughters can get in a lovely walk over to Hilbre Island while your MIL and mum chat on the beach. (I'm assuming they get on.)

www.seasideawards.org.uk/ might be worth a look?

It seemed clean to me when I went at half term, but my standards may be less exacting than yours

I think it may be just that I am paranoid and you are not .

What about North Wales beaches - anyone?
