Can anyone recommend a suitable European city break destination to visit over the Easter hols with our three children aged 13, 8 and 2. Thank you.

How about Barcelona? The weather should be quite nice then, lots of beautiful parks for kids to run around in, good transport system, not too long a flight and a bit of culture and yummy food.

Or easyjet and Ryan air also fly to Marrakech if you fancy something more exotic. It's very kid friendly but feels totally different to European cities.

Rome would be good but Easter is a very busy time of year then!

Barcelona would be a good choice, sunnier than Paris and more child friendly.

Of course, London is fab for kids too.

Definitely second suggestion of Barcelona. Paris is also fab, as is Amsterdam and Prague. We took DS there at ages 3, 4 and 5, respectably.

I've been to Brussels and was really surprised with how lovely it was

Paris is fab for kids. Aside from the usual attractions there are some amazing parks where there are fab playgrounds, carousels, you can rent little boats to sail on the lake. My dd (5) loved it.
