Teen/child friendly hotels in New York please?

Have you stayed at any good value NY hotels with older children teens that you could recommend please? preferably ones with a little kitchenette also? We're a family of four , 2 kids 12 and 14 yrs, planning a trip to NY for next Easter and I would be interested in any of your recommendations!

Staybridge Suites Times Square and Doubletree Suites in the same area are well worth looking at.

Not cheap but fab. Very handy location and a great grocery shop across the street that sell everything, including incredible range of deli foods. So you can eat very well without using your kitchen. Also, many restaurants do delivery, too.
