Why are so many hotel and self catering websites so rubbish?

If I'm going to pay upwards of £200 for a room, I WANT TO SEE WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE! And if I'm going ot pay a grand to rent your bloody house, ditto, I want to see the rooms. Why don't these people realise that if you don't show people the rooms on your site they just close the window and keep looking elsewhere?

It really gets on my nerves, it seems so obvious to me that if you're going to bother with a website to advertise your hotel/house you need PHOTOS. Thanks for listening.

My bugbear with so many of these places is that there is often no online facility to check availability - ring us for availability, they say. Sod off, I'm online and I want the information NOW!

Oh absolutely Moo, I've just looked at this one yeah yeah very nice but HAVE YOU GOT AVAILABILITY FOR THE DATES I WANT? And No, I won't fill in a fking form you fkwits.

I think I'm pre menstrual.

Oh get with the 21st century, people - if you can't book online there's really very little point in having a website (looks nice though...)

I just want to rant about this a bit more, I've lost count of the sites who want me to fill in a FORM to tell them when I want their property, er, NO I WON'T, I'll go somewhere that CAN tell me whether it's avaiable or not. Some of these sites are so shoddy it's unbelievable, hang on, you want to charge me £700 for a week in October but you can't pay someone to design you a PROPER website with photos and AVAILABILITY? AAAAAAAAAArrrrrrrGGGGGGGGGGHH.

It's really pissed me off today.
