Has anyone been to Brazil for a family beach holiday and would you recommend it?

Not for a beach holiday but I've taken my family to Brazil. We stayed in Rio for the first half and did lots of sightseeing and then spent some time on the (amazing) beach in the afternoons. Then we flew to iguassa Falls and stayed on the Argentian side in a rain forest and visited both sides of the falls, some mines and Paraguay.
I did um and ar about doing Rio and then either Buzios or Paraty but we decided as a family to visit the Falls.
We had an amazing trip.
Where was you thinking of going?

Thank you for your reply creamy. I don't really know what we want to do or where to go. Just eating up options. DH wants to switch off and have heat, I want to do & see things and we have 2 DSes 8 & 10 who love the pool but are also happy to see other things too. In past years we have been to the Carribean, Thailand and Dubai so don't want to go there. Struggling as I don't want to pay through the roof either. Anyway, the search continues... Your holiday sounded great though!
