my vote is for Oz as well- it may be winter but it will be in the mid teens to mid 20s so not exactly freezing. also as it is not so hot you can do more things. also no language issues and such a wide variety of stuff to do- city, outback, beach, reef, mountains, camping. i'd rent a house or look into house swapping- fly up to queensland, shop in sydney, getting boats everywhere- ooooooooooooooh i'm jealous!!!
