Tips on Croatia?

We were thinking Puglia for summer hols but flights appear to expensive. Could anyone help me get to know more about Croatia? Which bits are nice? We need to think of things to do for 6 year old girls and 10 year old boys...

I stayed here a few years ago (in a mobile home, not camping). It's a big site and there's loads to do both onsite and nearby.

Have a look at Montenegro too - we flew into dubrovnik, drove down to croatia (kotor bay)and stayed there, then back up to dubrovnik for a few days. Wouldn't want to stay in dubrovnik for more than a couple of days but it is stunning.
