Has anyone flown at Easter with Virgin? I was planning on booking flights as soon as they come out - there will be 4 adults and 2 children.

How much did you pay if you flew with Virgin?

check out flights for this easter and add on about 5% that should be about right. the price on florida flights doesn't vary by much as there is no point giving deals on them when they know they will sell out anyway. cheapest way is to fly into an airport that isn't orlando and then drive there. just taken a look and it is coming out at about £9K for the 6 of you. is the most expensive time to fly as it is v v busy in the parks in easter when it is hot but not scorchio.

angryfeet remember you cant get unauthorised absence for holidays any more thanks to Mr Gove. the fine is £60 per child per parent so £120 per child. not sure how this affects your costings. tampa is easy to drive from we also personally like Miami.

Is that per day?

you need to go to your local education authority website and check out. also check with the school but in some places yes it is per day plus you may get a visit from the education officer. complete overkill I know but according to Mr Goves letter to me its nothing to do with him its all these nasty head teachers taking this decision. good luck.
