Luxury holiday recommendations for group of 4 stressed out mums

Three of my old school friends and I are turning 40 at the end of the year and we've been saving for a holiday for the last couple of years.
We'll be going in the October half term, so late Oct, but stuck for ideas.
Would really like somewhere that's going to be warm, we would like a modern, luxury hotel. We want to feel like we're pampering ourselves basically - a real treat and escape from the humdrum of everyday 'mumming/working'. Have been googling until my eyes have gone squiffy. So thought I'd ask on here and see if anyone has any recommendations.

we went to bath for a 50th birthday and luxuriated in the spa with roof top pool. Loved Barcelona with beach, sights and bars plus cable cars. rome was good too but with the girls I would plump for Barcelona. pm me for details.

I'd go to the Red Sea and the hotels are luxurious. The weather is fabulous at that time of year - think you will struggle to get such good weather in the Med.

Thanks ranout have you got any specific hotel recommendations? Don't know anything about the Red Sea but like the sound of fabulous weather and luxurious hotels!

HOw about IStanbul?

We went on a family holiday and stayed at a quiet resort in Marsa Alam. It was the Three Corners Fayrouz but you might find that too quiet.

I think you would find something suitable in the Sharm/Hurghada area. I have the Makadi Bay area on good recommendation. Egypt is pretty much a resort destination i.e. you tend to stay on resort.

Elounda in Greece is a very lovely place to luxuriate, infinity pools with views of the gorgeous sea. October should be pretty good rates though not sure about the weather at that time of year. Happy 40th!
