Centre parcs in Germany

Anyone been? We are thinking of booking a week at Easter. The prices look reasonable compared to UK centre parcs. We want children to practise their German so would love them to be full of Germans rather than British!

Not been to CP in Germany - but also take a look at www.landal.com - cheaper still than CP and really good accommodation. We spent Easter at Sonnenburg a few years ago.

Have only been to the Dutch and a belgium CP, but they are brilliant value for money compared to the UK and have a lot more facilities than Landal. Some of the Landal sites are old CP sites anyway.
We tend to go last week of august when the Dutch have gone back for school holidays, but you do find a few english and my dcs have made friends with other english children but the majority of the visitors do tend to be Dutch or German.

Thanks for the advice. I have looked at the Landal website. It is much cheaper and closer than the CP site I was looking at. We are likely to book landal instead. Also found out channel crossing can be done with Tesco vouchers... looks like a week away for less than £300 for four. Just need to get my head round driving on the continent.

It's easy when you get the hang of it. Out of the Eurostar you are on the motorway pretty much for the first part of the journey. Which Landal site are you looking at?

Eifel Tor. It has recently been constructed and opens this week. Hopefully all the snagging list will be done by April!

We booked a week at Landal in a lodge for the Easter holiday. £190 for all 4 of us! Can't believe how cheap Centre Parcs and Landal are in Europe.

Will book channel tunnel on tesco club card too.

Oh lovely- I will have a look at that one. Really nice scenery in the Eiffel. Sounds like you got a bargain! Trier is nice for a visit.
