I have booked 2 weeks with Keycamp in the Ardeches - not far from Montelimar. I want to add a 3rd week but can't decide where to go. Anyone stayed anywhere lovely vaguely near the route back north via the A6. I would stretch from northern Languedoc/Provence back up through the Rhone Alps area, Burgundy, Alsace etc. Some where with nice little towns to visit and activities for my 10 yo.

Not sure if this is in the right area but I would recommend L'Elzet. It is in Languedoc and is such a beautiful place.
We went there when are dc were 2 and 7 and had a great time.

It is truly beautiful. The owner, Jeeves, is a fantastic host and always willing help.

There is so much to do in the area. We caught the train to the next town to go to the market and it was an amazing steam train which the kids really enjoyed.

The cascades are a great way to spend time to. Some areas are good for paddling and dam building, others good for swimming.

I could go on for ages talking about it!
