Lightweight framed carrier for toddler

DH and I are planning a trip to Australia next year and want to do some walks in the national parks.

We already have an Ergo, but want something more structured so DDs aren't "stuck" to our backs. We did have a Littlelife carrier, and sold it as found it too bulky! Any recommendations for a lightweight carrier would be great!

I had a macpac vamoose which was great for walking holidays

We have a Chicco caddy that is really good. V light and the hood comes in handy for both rain and strong sunshine. We've used it for our kids between ages of about six months and two and a half. They're pretty expensive new but we got ours for about a tenner secondhand.

Macpac vamoose here too. I think it's great but I have nothing to compare it to. One thing that sold us on it was seeing they hold their value very well on ebay so we plan to sell ours when dc are too big.

Thanks very much! Smile

Will have a look at the Macpac and Chicco Caddy.

Yes, we bought our Macpac for about £140 I think, sold it 5 years later after lots of use for £100.
