Feb half term - Cape Verde or Dubai?

Has anyone been to either during February? I'll be 20+ weeks pregnant so Dubai appeals more in terms of hospital facilities etc. if needed but apparently there can be sand storms/bad weather at that time of year.

Cape Verde is lush the weather there is fab they never have rain lol. We found them to be very warm and friendly when we went and the beaches were beautiful

They are 2 very different places tho so it depends on what kind of holiday you are looking for I suppose.

Cape Verde is still under developed as far as tourism goes where as dubai is the complete opposite. I have a friend tho went to Cape Verde last year. They did 1 trip I think but mainly relaxed by pool as there's not much else to do.

I've been to Dubai twice. The last time was last summer. You'll never run out of something to do. Weather will be just about right in February.

Thanks Sandychick. I think we've discounted Cape Verde now due to the lack of hospital facilities (I'll be 23 weeks pg) and Dubai seems too expensive!
