Weather in Rhodes in October

Hi. Has anyone been to Rhodes in October? I am wondering if the weather would be gamble. Looking for a beach holiday but have wanted to go to Rhodes for a while. Have been to Crete in October which was breezy and too chilly for the beach and rained a couple of times. Have probably answered my own question...Smile

Not for a holiday , but I did live there for a few years .
Its the end of the season and you could have two weeks of beautiful sunny days or beautiful sunny days with a few overcast or rainy days chucked in .You would be very unlucky to have a whole fortnight of rubbish weather.
Its been warm enough that I've sunbathed in October , so coming from a UK end Sept / Oct it would definitely be warm enough for you to catch some rays . Northern resorts tend to have a permanent breeze - fabulous in July and August but maybe not so much in October (and the beaches aren't as good as further south )
Did you have a resort in mind ?

Beware, I was in Athens the first week of October and it was cold. I ended up wearing borrowed slippers!

End of May and start of June is nice in Rhodes, before it gets really hot.

My sister has a house in Rhodes ,even the end of September can be a bit hit and miss and the rainfall can be astronomical so I wouldn't if you want sunshine.

Thanks for the replies folks. Yes, too risky really, isn't it? Have booked Fuerteventura instead Grin
