We arrive in Paris next Thursday and want to take the TGV from CDG airport to Val d'Europe (the stop before Disney) has anyone else done this and can you tell me how long it took? How much did it cost? Was it fairly straightfoward? Also we arrive at about 8pm will the trains still be running?

I speak a bit of French but am better at reading it than listening to it as they speak so fast!

We considered a taxi but want to have a rough idea of how much it will be so as not to get ripped off!

We thought we might have to get the red line on the RER into Chatelet and then change to the blue which seemed a major hassle. Then I discovered the TGV station was under the airport and there was a direct route. Never contemplated that I might get Lost!!!

Did you book your taxi before you left or did you just wait and get one from the airport? To be honest the taxi sounds like my best option as I'm not sure how far our apartments are from tha station. We're at the Val d'Europe apartments - they're near the shopping mall i think!

It's getting closer now and I am SO excited!!! We haven't told my Ds that we're going so it's going to be a fab surprise! he's 6 so he's at a really good age. Will look out for the taxis when we get there!

We're back. Went for a week. Ended up getting a taxi to the hotel when we arrived although it worked out a lot dearer than we thought. 70 euros. We were staying in Pierre & Vacances apartments in Val d'Europe. One stop up from Disney on the RER. It also had a free shuttle bus so it was fab. On the way home we knew exactly where the station was in relation to our apartment and it was fairly straightforward only costing 35 euros for the three of us. had a ball though and we're planning our next trip already! Thanks for all your help and advice.
