All you London people - just how hot will it be on the tube tomorrow???

I've got to get across London with DS tomorrow and the tube is the obvious choice, but just how hot and stuffy will it be down there??? I am considering a bus which takes twice as long but don't want DS (6) passing out!!! Any help gratefully received.....

At least you can get off a bus whenever you want to.

That's true, my horror scenario would be getting stuck on the tube because of a melting rail or something

Thanks for all your advice!!! Tube was fine, we got to Brixton, but the station was closed when we tried to get back!! We had to get a bus, but no panic thanks to MN mafia advice. Bus def hotter!!! The water spray helped (had to take a plant sprayer, was the smallest I had and got some VERY strange looks- think they were just envious!)
