Where should I go? End of May, approx 31 weeks pg

Looking for a beach holiday location at the end of May. DH, DS (3) and me (approx 31 weeks pg at time of trip).

Requirements:

• Flight no longer than 4 hrs.
• Hotel/resort with kids club
• Budget approx 3k including flights

Any thoughts?

Just to point out that May half term starts on Friday 23rd May, schools go back Monday 2nd June.. so prices will be much more expensive then.Avoid school holidays while you are still able!!

So you think second week of June? What do you think about travelling at almost 8 months? Would I enjoy it? I went to Edinburgh festival when I was 34 weeks with DS and I was ready to go home. Granted, that's not exactly sitting on a beach...

check the travel insurance situation before you start considering going abroad, especially if flying.

Princess Yaiza in Lanzarote gets fab reviews.. worth looking at. Could then go earlier as it is a year round destination.

I'll check my travel insurance. I've not heard great things about Lanzarote - friends refer to it as "Lanzagrotty." Has anyone else heard this description?

I went to Rhodes at the end of May when I was 30 weeks. Temperature was hot without being scorching. Can't suggest resorts as we went for adults only to make the most of our last peaceful holiday.

We went with Thomson and they are happy for you to fly short haul up to 36 weeks but needed a doctors note to state pregnancy has been uncomplicated.
