Anyone been? We are looking for spring half term.

How do they compare with UK ones?
What is the journey like from Calais?

We're going in Feb. Not been before but we went to a Landal Greenparks place a couple of years back and we've also been to another holiday park just across the Dutch border. Check the Belgian Centerparcs site as booking via that rather than the UK site is cheaper again so a massive saving on UK prices (if you don't speak French/Dutch, Google translate might work). The drive from Calais is about 3 hours and straightforward although the roads can be quite busy especially around Antwerp.

Thanks Cheerup.

Ive been on the site and its so much cheaper sherwood where we have been before.

Have you booked your ferry? What's the best route?

We'll be using the Eurotunnel this year. Dover-Dunkerque ferry gets you slightly closer but the ferry takes two hours and the price wasn't much cheaper than Eurotunnel. One thing to know about Belgium is that it is quite pricey even relative to France. If you're not taking food from home, then it's probably worth stopping in France to stock up rather than doing a big shop in Belgium. There's an Auchan hypermarket at Grande Synthe just off the A16 between Calais & Dunkerque. I'm a skinflint so we'll be taking home made frozen meals (reheatable on the hob as no oven) and doing an Auchan shop for cheese, wine, snacks and puddings.

Which Centerparcs are you thinking of. We're going to De Vossemeren. The pirate ship adventure play area looks amazing.

That's the one we are going to. It was the pirate ship that swung it Smile

Thanks for ferry advice and supermarket too. Will definitely look into eurotunnel.
