car hire in Majorca

can anyone recommend a car hire company plesae for Palma airport?

We used Avis last year who seemed fine and gave us a bigger car than we'd expected. They were based in the undercover car park opposite the terminal. dd threw up on the car seat on the way back to the airport though !

We're going to be using Alamo this summer in Majorca.

We were very pleased with them in America so decided to use them again.

I think there are several car hire companies based at Palma airport.

When are you going?

We booked with carjet.com. Very reasonable, no complaints at all.

Don't use Hyper. They used to be great but have now moved their office away from the airport (by some distance!)

Did Avis and Carjet supply your car seats Lizs and Saggarmbk?

Am wracking my brains trying to think which conpany we hired from. There are loads at Palma - and all a very short walk from the airport.

Centauro? To cut a long story short, our car hire got messed up (thank you dh) but they have the big names there - Avis etc, but the local ones are fine too. Can provide seats for babies, toddlers etc but arranging in advance would be cheaper (ask your travel agent). You may have to be a bit pushy with local firms tho.

You can rent car seats with Alamo but we're taking our own booster seat.

Yes they did, although they weren't brand new they were in good condition and fitted well. We prebooked and dh got to choose which of their stock to take.
