can anyone recomend a nice hotel in york for the weekend please.

Aldwark manor just outside York is lovely

Are you wanting meals?

If not the Travel lodge in the city centre is nice.
Theres also the Hilton opposite Cliffords Tower and your right in the centre there and also next to the river.
