Fab holiday ideas for July 2014?

Am trying to sort out a great holiday for July 2014 with DH and Ds (7). We love wildlife/sealife and so far, have thought of:

Perth & Ningaloo Reef, Australia or
Cape Town, Hermanus & Garden Route, South Africa
Vancouver and Rockies

Are there any other places I should be thinking of? Thanks

Brazil has a lot to offer. I've taken my DC to Cape Town and it was our best holiday ever.

I'd give Brazil a complete miss next year due to it hosting the World Cup (which ends July 13th). Prices for both hotels and for travelling there have gone sky high as a result.

Australia is currently very expensive for Brits due to poor exchange rate.

I would certainly consider Vancouver and Rockies further out of the places you've named thus far.

we are looking at Vancouver/rockies. best ever trip was to florida keys. never goes above 100 degrees so not scorchio and loads of outdoor stuff to do. my dream place and the kids loved it too. fly into Miami, satnav it out and you can be there in an hour and a half.

I love Florida but have been several times already and need a change :)

How about the Mexican riviera?

Lots of wildlife, beautiful beaches, etc.

What about Malawi and Zambia. Malawi has a fresh water lake full of fish and has great National Parks, Liwonde and Majete. Zambia has the best park in Africa, South Luangwa.

We are hoping to go to Thailand for a few weeks :)

Will second Zambia. I loved all our safaris there and Botswana great too. Beware of South Africa in July as it is winter and the whales will probably not have arrived in Hermanus. It would be warm in Kruger but very cold at night. Would also look at California Coast including San Francisco, Monterey for whales, Alaska and Canada/The Rockies definitely. You could also look at Ecuador and the Galapagos or Peru. Both have glorious rainforest too.

What about costa rico , Peru and rainforest . Or India , which has some great wildlife parks. Depending on your budget depends really on where you go . Have a great time wherever you end up no doubt .
