Going to Brugge with nearly 10year old DD

So what would you recommend the chocolate museum and the chips museum look like they might be fun. The canals will be closed as it will be December. The Christmas market will be on.
We are also going to go down the coast on the tram any particular recommendations?

Hire a bike? Wee did in October....it was fun thigh we wrapped up warm.

Don't discount a decent art gallery or 2 and a climb of the campanille.
