Hotels/Guesthouses in Cambridge

Can anyone recommend a hotel or guest house in Cambridge? I want something fairly central as we are going to a wedding at Downing College, but hopefully not too expensive!

Any recommendations would be gratefully received, or advice on where NOT to go.

The Felix is nice apparently with good food
I don't think it's central though

Cambridge is a bit of a good hotel desert

How not too expensive? There is a fairly central travellodge now.

Ta for your responses. On recommendation of the groom we have booked the Lensfield, as it's v close to the wedding.
