Beauvais Airport to Eurodisney

Was thinking about flying to here as the flights and car-hire would be dead cheap. Is it a horrible drive to disney? The website says it's about 100km (would think more to disney). I don't know where it is in relation to Disney. Is driving in France horrid. I have no idea. Any jhelp would be good.

Eurostar not really an option as we stay in Scotland.

Anyone?

Beauvais is a city in Picardy, NW diagonally opposite Eurodisney and about 100 km outside Paris. I have never done the drive myself but I think you need to think M25 in terms of potential congestion and delays (although IMO roads generally are better in France).
You don't have to go through the centre of Paris, but you will have to go either to the South and West round to Eurodisney, or North and East. We have done some of the route down from Picardy round to Senlis (not that far from Eurodisney) and it was the busiest driving we have ever done, but OK. French drivers are speedy and decisive but not rude or dangerous in urban settings IME.

First time we flew in to Beuvais we hired a car, drive round outskirts of Paris past CDG airport, DH says it was mostly motorway but nothing like M25 for volume of traffic or congestion.

Second time we were staying in Paris so we got the bus direct from airport to centre of Paris, then Metro and RER train to Disney for the day.

Other personal experiences

we did beauvais last summer. We booked a mobile home at a campsite that was 40 miles from disney. However... it took us 4 hours to get there from airport! We arrived on the outer perimeter road (I think its called that: goes around paris, like M25). We arrived on it at rush hour, around 4 till 7, it was tail to tail as you can imagine. However on way back it only took us 20 minutes.
