Looking for recommendations please. 4 of us, including a 2 and a 4 year old. Will be for summer holidays next year (school hols sadly!) and will need to be reasonable in price. Lots to do in local area. We are city folk so want something with lots of animals, walks, castles, needs to be child friendly and would be amazing if there was something like babysitting available so we can wangle 1 night off (this may be a pipe dream). Could be anywhere in the UK really, although 6 hours drive from London is probably my limit (but willing to extend). Don't mind in which direction. Obviously needs to be stuff to do if there weather is crap as well as lovely outdoorsy stuff. Any recommends? TIA.

We stay Here has a swimming pool, animals like chickens, ducks, donkeys and a huge playroom. its about an hour from Exeter on the lovely A38 (avoid the A30 at all costs). they do get pretty busy over the summer holidays. theres loads to do in this area as it is near to the seaside at Looe. we have been to the monkey sanctuary and donkey park when ours were small but mainly they enjoyed feeding the animals, finding eggs (most of which made it back to our cottage) or playing on the beach. now they are a bit older its all about crabbing in Looe. Plymouth is about half an hour away and we usually go on the train to make it a bit more of a day out. not sure if they still offer babysitting as ours are old enough to be left now but they always used to so worth asking.
