family travel insurance recommendations

We've got a few trips coming up so looking for an annual policy, and we'll need it to either include or allow us to top up with a month of winter sports cover.
The new factor is our baby girl and would want cover that pays up for all of us not going on the holiday if only one of us is ill- is that a standard assumption on family policies? I.e. Daughter is ill so we don't go on the trip - will they pay out full holiday cost or only for portion that relates to daughter?
Thanks

Yes any decent cover will pay up in those circumstances. I found Money Saving Expert's pages on travel insurance very useful.

NFU Mutual - brilliant if you have to make a claim ...you pay for what you get....

thanks - just picked this up again
as you said - yes the family policy covers all of us dropping out of a holiday if any of the 3 of us can't make it.
have ended up with a policy from American Express - as is the case with insurance though - I hope we never need to find out how good (or poor) they are...
agree with you lotty - it wasn't the cheapest I found, but their marketing must have worked because I picked them over a couple of unknown companies and hope they are as good as their adverts suggest
