Blackpool with small children

We're off to Blackpool for a weekend: we'll have 3 children in our party, 5, 4 and 2.

What's the best attractions for our group and what should we avoid? I was thinking Central Pier one day but it seems like lots of the rides may be too big...?

Do not go into Pleasure Beach, you'll have to pay to get in and rides too big for your littlies. The pier rides are good for little cars and helter skelter. You could do donkeys, poke about on beach, tram ride is good ( get a day pass from newsagents, cheaper than on tram) and fish and chip tea at Bisphams eat in cafe. Lights go on 7:30, magic for little ones! Enjoy and take fleeces

Do all newsagents do the day passes, perspective? That sounds like a great idea.

The sandcastle water park is great ,although may be busy at a weekend.

Sealife centre
Maybe do a walk from pleasure beach to the tower n back. Do some of it on the beach. Get some chips. Look at the tat. That could wear them out.
Sandcastle would be good but it's pricy
Also it's luminations at the no so you could get a team to see them

Oh AND the tower and circus of course! Plenty to do

Avoid the main strip late in the evening/ Blackpool gets a lot of hen parties/stag parties at weekends.
