Is anyone familiar with Stratford upon Avon? Advice needed please for a special trip.

My Mum is 70 in a couple of weeks and has always wanted to visit Stratford upon Avon so I am taking here there for the day.

Can anyone recommend a nice spot for an afternoon tea, centrally located?

Church street townhouse is nice, or rooftop restaurant at the RSC, or the Arden hotel - all are central.

We visited last weekend and had a nice cream tea in a cafe directly opposite Shakespeare's Birthplace museum (sorry, can't remember the name).
