What will the weather be like at this time of year? Have not been to Portugal before, or abroad at that time of year!

We went at the very end of September last year and it was lovely and hot, not a cloud in the sky for ten days!

Apparently we were quite lucky though. It should still be warm.

Which part are you thinking of? North, ie Porto will probably be cool, Algarve still pretty warm. Lisbon should be warm too, although maybe wet. October can be beautiful, but it will feel autumnal rather than summery. Good time to come though to see lots of things rather than lie on a beach.

thinking of west algarve, near lagos. still want somewhere warm enough to go on beach, in pool etc
