We are thinking of going here in late September/October, with DD aged 4 and DS aged 2, has anyone been here? Would you recommend it, or anywhere else in the Canaries ?
Would really appreciate some advice.
Thanks

We went to the Yaiza last year in Oct/Nov with a 5 month old. We had a lovely time, and were really impressed with the hotel. The suites are big and roomy (definitely worth getting one with a sea/pool view). Food was v good - breakfast an amazing buffet. We went half board so went out to supper to the local restaurants as well as tied the ones in house - Japanese one really good. Staff v helpful and friendly.
The beach outside the hotel is lovely and clean/safe, although we stayed around the fab pools more. The kids clubs looked really good but we didnt use them as dd too young.
Very good for child friendly holiday - no steps for pram down to promenade behind beach.
Hope this helps

we stayed at Yaiza and also the Timanfaya Palace (about 5 minutes apart): the latter wins hands down as we had 2 small kids and gusest at Yaiza were a bit snooty about this.

Playa Blanca is fab place for kids. Make sure to go to Papagayo beaches - fantastic!
