Dumb question: about passports

I am flying between Southampton and Glasgow, do I need a passport!!

No! you are flying within the UK.

You may need such a document to prove your identity so I would take it with you. Better to take it with you and have done with rather than to be told sorry you can't travel today.

This is Easyjet's policy on such matters:-

Passengers are required to provide photographic ID at check-in on all flights including domestic services.

Do you have a driving license with your photo on?Much better to use as identity than carrying a passport
