Berlin? Oct half term? What do you think?

I am just considering taking the family to Berlin for a few days over the October half term.

Do you think a 12 and 14 yr old DS will enjoy it? will it be freezing?!

What to see and do?

It may well be cold, but Berlin is a fantastic city. Do it!

I think it will be cold. But I bet it is interesting.

It's on my list of places to visit - and flights were quite reasonable too.

Chilly yes but I've heard Berlin is fantastic for family city breaks.

Do give us a full report with recommendations

The zoo is great.

Lots of history stuff, obviously - Checkpoint Charlie, Berlin Wall, Olympic Stadium, Reichstag.

I seem to remember there's a Lego discovery centre, or whatever they're called, but they are probably too old for that.

Thanks.

Am still mulling it over!
