Hello all,

Just looking for some Berlin tips please. 2 nights, 3 days BABY FREE, myself and husband. It'll be our 3 year wedding anniversary when we are there so hoping for a special trip.

Any tips on hotels, areas to stay, restaurants or things to see / do?

the reichstag then brandenburg gate, then a walk down unter den Linden, lovely old buildings along there and some local cafes. checkpoint charlie, and museum. there is a revolving restaurant in east berlin... it is quite pricey though and we had to queue.

the jewish museum took h 5 hours to go round. beware.

we stayed in a hotel on the outskirts of berlin and got the train in everyday. we were there a bit longer though. and it was flippin freezing on the train platforms in december.

Kinda depends what you enjoy doing as Berlins got everything! Great museums, fantastic international cuisine (especially Turkish and Vietnemese), stylish or quirky shops, great markets to mooch about in. History, culture, arty things, take your pick!

You can even be driven round the city on a bed ! ( as long as its not raining....)
