Hi there
Can anyone recommend a luxury hotel in Mallorca with baby (13 months) friendly facilities.
Ideally with a room overlooking the beach and where you can step in the sand.
Also, some activities to keep an adult busy:))
Is the weather warm enough end of September?

Hi, we haven't really experienced the luxury end of the market in Majorca, but my friend went to the new Insotel in Cala Mandia this summer and really liked it. We stayed at the Son Baulo which was lovely and right on the beach but it's very much 3 star and not luxury at all. However, it does have a soft play room and Thomson Kids staff so is very family friendly. If you go for one of the Thomson Family Resorts they will have creches that your baby can go to and loads of activities going on.
Also, if you wanted to be in Palma itself there is a luxury hotel called the Bon Sol which is on a small beach in Illetas and always used to get good reviews. Hope that helps a bit! Oh and weather at the end of September can be changeable but there still should be lots of warm sunny days.

A quick look on Trip Advisor will give you some ideas. There are quite a few finca hotels that are absolutely wonderful. Probably booked up though. They are not by the beach , but quite a few are in the Soller region which is lovely. I think the hotel forum paged on bookings.com or TA will give you a short list ad then you can look on the individual web sites. I usually bother less about 'great staff' comments but I really want a lovely room and comfortable surroundings, good food and a great location. Most notes will cater fr a baby and you can rent a car to get to the beaches which should not be too busy later this month. Ave a great time.
