Fab things to do/safe swimming/ with kids in Paphos - any clues?

Hi Mumsnetters,

After much (lovely, healthy, hectic) camping, we are thinking of taking a trip to Cyprus with our 8-year old (Paphos area). Can anyone recommend safe swimming beaches/ other fab things to do? Good eateries with genuinely yummy greek food.

Just a bit excited about sleeping on a level surface and seeing some sunshine.

hi, the best thing in Cyprus is the pirate ship trip. It was the best thing on our whole holiday with a dd ages 5 and ds aged 1. brill singing, dancing, kids stuff, food and we still sing the "hoist the sail, jolly roger, jolly roger" song, now and we went last year!

I adore Cyprus, we always stay at the St George Hotel and Spa. We loved the aqua park, clean, well supported with life guards and a great day out

the harbour also has great restuarants
