I want an active holiday. Preferably warm. No snow.
I want to walk in mountains, so happy with 18-20 degrees, or laze by a pool. I dont want to travel long haul. I want it to be reasonably cheap.

It will be me and our two boys 11 and 8, I dont know if dh will be able to join us.

For that time of year you are looking at the canaries or Cape Verde although Cape Verde is just a laze by the pool holiday.

I was hoping to avoid the canaries, as we have been a few times. I will check out Cape Verde.

How about Morocco?

Never been but worth a look. Not sure about weather at that time of year.

I went to Tunisia in June and it was beyond hot, so may be ideal for Feb.

Utterly cheap too. A week all.inc. 4* was £300 each.

Good culture, the TRavel Agents offer some good trips (camel rides and nights in a Bedouin tent etc).

I will look into Tunisia. Would love to see the set of Tattooine while it is still there as it is in danger of being covered in sand!

Atlas Mountains. Stay in the Kasbah to Toubkal
