Ferry to IOW advice...

Trying to work out prices for ferry for holiday to the isle of wight (baby attached, hence lack of capitals), and it shows as cheaper to get a single out and back than a return, or even two day returns and only use one half, than a return spanning 8 days...

Is there some reason that I can't book them like that, or do they just assume that people won't book them like that?

Bumping again.....

not sure - with the ferries to France I think they stopped this, but maybe the IOW hasn't yet. Are you trying Red funnel or WightLink?

PsychoFlame · 14/06/2006 15:45

red funnel

Tinker · 14/06/2006 15:47

Thought you couldn't do this as well. IOW ferry is teh most expensive in Europe, apparently.

zubb · 14/06/2006 15:50

with car? I'm surprised it's cheaper than the long stay fare, but I would go for it if it saves money.

get 2 singles - got conned by them before (grrr) charging a fortune for a return that comes back on a Saturday.

Wouldn't get 2 returns as that'd block spaces on the boat that other people would want.
