Where could you recommend for some sunshine in October for DD ,DH and I.

Was not thinking Caribbean or Indian Ocean etc and not keen on Egypt.
In general we like the Isles of scilly,Italy and the Maldives if that helps.

Unless you go further afield you might not be guaranteed the weather you want. Cyprus might be OK but I would look at the Cape Verde Islands - there average year round temps are around 29 degrees.

Morocco? Lots of different parts very warm at that time of year. U could do a city or beach or both in a week.

We gor married in east Cyrpus late October and it was hot. One day of drizzle but that actually was a relief. Im thinking of booking again actually.

What about Jordan? We went one Oct and it was about 27 degrees. Perhaps have a look at Aqaba which is a town on the Red Sea so you have the beach and water but can do day trips to the desert or Petra from here.
We went with a 2 and 5 year old and loved it. Much more 'European' than other Middle East countries I've visited.
