taking car seats on aircraft (in hold) with Norwegian

Am travelling to Sweden on Friday and plan to take 3 car seats to avoid excessive costs of hiring abroad through car rental company. The way that I understand it through Norwegian website is that each child travelling is entitled to one car seat/buggy free of charge - does anyone have experience of this and know that this info' is correct? Also, how should we put these in the hold (it will be 3 booster seats). Should we just leave them as they are and try to attach some sort of luggage label to each of them separately? Or will we be allowed to packaged them together?...Anyone got any advice/experience?....

HBB or booster cushions?
Are you sure you want to subject carseats to that level of potential abuse? How old are the kids? Think I'd be tempted to buy travel boosters for those old enough to use them, and take as hand luggage. I'd pack very well, and if cushions, pack well in a suitcase.
