Parks on outskirts of Cambridge

I'm driving to Cambridge to meet a friend and we are planning to meet in one of the parks for a picnic and play. I know from previous experience that car parking can be difficult and expensive. I wonder if anyone can recommend any of the parks that are further out of Cambridge where car parking might be a little easier. Possibly a bit of a tall order. We will have a 4 year old, 2 year old and 1 year old with us.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Milton Country Park - just off the A14 so no need to enter Cambridge itself. Lots to do and explore. www.miltoncountrypark.org/

we love wandlebury which is on the south side. Newhnam park has a (Free?)
carpark but it does get busy. Anglesey abbey is fab (NT place).
