No1 or Aspire lounges Gatwick North terminal

Has any one used either of these recently? Thought it might be more relaxing than waiting on the concourse but the reviews aren't encouraging. I want to get to the airport in plenty of time and have a and a snack before our holiday flight and the No1 looked ideal as cinema etc for the kids. However TripAdvisor has made me wonder if we wouldn't be better off going to a restaurant. Kids are 7 and 4.

I've done No1 with older children and we enjoyed it as made a nice change from restaurant/choose a comic from wh smith combo we have done many times. It's not particularly good value for money but a nice treat.
