Suggestions for a graduation meal in London please

I'm attending my graduation ceremony at the Barbican Centre in London on 20th September (at the ripe old age of 47!). I need to find a nice restaurant that serves really good vegetarian/vegan food and meat dishes. My mother is extremely fussy about cleanliness and likes mainly dairy free veggie food. It doesn't have to be right near the Barbican Centre. Any ideas?

I am going to my Mum's graduation on the same day at the Barbican. As it is a Friday they will not eat meet, only fish, so any ideas you get might work for me Smile

Congratulations to your mum, what's her degree?

Mildred's in Soho is a good veggie (has vegan options) restaurant. Not too far?

Mildred's looks fab, but I need a restaurant that also serves meat dishes. However, I will certainly be visiting Mildred's myself when I'm next in London with friends. Thanks for the suggestion.

Ottolenghis in Islington but you can't book for lunch

Yes, I love Ottolenghis, been there before but seating is limited and there will be six of us. Thanks
