We're thinking of going this Sunday. How long can we expect to queue do you think? will it be utterly horrendous? We've friends visiting (we live in London) and they REALLY want to go so we are going to brave it.

Go in through the side door to avoid the entrance queue altogether. Anything up to an hour to get into the dinosaurs, but everything else will just be 'busy'.

You can book tickets to see both the butterflies in the tent out the front and the dinosaurs (to avoid the queues). Just behind the dinosaurs is the Darwin Centre section and it exits into a great outdoor area where you can sit and have lunch (bought from the Benugo outlet you pass or brought with you from elsewhere).
